THIS MONTH’S FOCUS
A community-funded, nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, Pope Memorial Humane Society – Cocheco Valley (PMHS-CV) is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care and shelter for animals while fostering a more humane community through education and advocacy for animal welfare.
PMHS-CV cares for over 1,000 animals each year, who enter our doors as strays, owner surrenders, or transports from other humane agencies in need of assistance.
Pope Memorial also provides low-cost veterinary care to hundreds of owned pets every year to ensure owned animals can continue to thrive with their beloved families.
